The 2008 American Music Awards were held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.
The big winner was Chris Brown who won three American Music Awards including Artist of the Year.
Double winners included Rihanna, Kanye West and Alicia Keys - who had the most nominations with five.
Performers included Christina Aguilera, Ne-Yo, Taylor Swift and the Pussycat Dolls.
