The 48th Annual Grammy Awards were held February 8, 2006.
U2 took home the major awards of Album of the Year and Song of the Year. Record of the Year went to Green Day's "Boulevard of Broken Dreams."
Multiple winners included Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, Mariah Carey, and Alison Krauss.
