American Idol has become the ultimate talent search tv show. Every season, thousands of hopefuls audition for a chance to become the next American Idol.
The shows original judges were Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, and Randy Jackson. Abdul has since left the show and currently judging with Cowell and Jackson are Ellen DeGeneres and Kara DioGuardi.
Every week the judges provide feedback, but ultimately the American public has the final say in who becomes the next American Idol.
