The 64th Annual Tony Awards were held on June 13, 2010 at Radio City Music Hall and were hosted by Sean Hayes.
"Fela!" and the revival of "La Cage aux Folles" had the most nominations going in with eleven each - but it was "Memphis" that was the best musical of the year. "Memphis" won four Tonys.
"Red" was named best play and won a total of six Tony Awards.
Besides performances by the casts of nominated musicals, the show also had performances by Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison from the TV show "Glee" and the band Green Day.
