Incumbent DFL Delaware Governor Ruth Ann Minner escaped a challenge by William S Lee and won re-election. Neither of Delaware's Senators were up for re-election, but incumbent Representative Michael Castle won easily in Delaware's 2004 Elections.

John Kerry won Delaware's 3 electoral votes.
