Who Won Idaho Elections in 2006?

Republicans won the three major elections in Idaho in 2006. CL "Butch" Otter won the open Idaho Governor's seat over DFL candidate Jerry Brady.

In the House of Representatives Bill Sali (pictured left) won an open seat in Idaho's 1st District, while Mike Simpson (who has served since 1998) won re-election in the 2nd District in 2006.

In the 2006 election Idaho passed an amendment banning same-sex marriage.
