Kansas Governor Kathlenn Sebelius wins in 2006Nov 7, 2006

Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius won re-election in 2006 over Republican challenger Jim Barnett with 58% of the vote.

Three of the four incumbent members of Congress easily won their election bids in 2006. However in the 2nd District of Kansas Republican incumbent Jim Ryun was defeated by DFL challenger Nancy Boyda.

Nancy Boyda (51%) DFL
Also on the ballot: Jim Ryun (REP Incumbent - 47%); Roger Tucker (REF - 2%)
Kansas 3rd District
Dennis Moore Incumbent (64%) DFL
Also on the ballot: Chuck Ahner (REP - 34%); Robert Conroy (REF - 2%)
Kansas 4th District
Todd Tiahrt Incumbent (64%) REP
Also on the ballot: Garth McGinn (DFL - 34%); Joy Holt (REF - 2%)
