Incumbent Republican Senator Orrin Hatch easily won a sixth term to the Senate in 2006. He defeated Democrat Pete Ashdown.

Utah's three incumbent Representatives (Rob Bishop, Jim Matheson, and Chris Cannon) all won re-election fairly easily in 2006.
