In the 2006 elections for Washington state, all the incumbents ran for re-election and all were sent back to Washington DC.
Maria Cantwell (pictured left) was sent back for a second term in the United States Senate for Washington. The largest margin of victory in the House races was by Congressman Jim McDermott of the 7th District who was sent back for a tenth term in 2006.
