Incumbent Alaska Senator Ted Stevens, after having been indicted, lost an extremely narrow election to DFL challenger Mark Begich (pictured left).

Alaska's lone Congressman Don Young won re-election to the House of Representatives.

Senator Lisa Murkowski is up for re-election in 2010.

John McCain won the three electoral votes from Alaska.
