7th District Congressman Mike Ferguson retired in 2008 leaving an open House seat which was won by fellow Republican Leonard Lance.
Another open seat in District 3 was taken by Democrat John Adler.
New Jersey Senator Frank Lautenberg (pictured left) won re-election in 2008 over challenger Dick Zimmer.
Senator Bob Menendez is up for re-election in 2012.
Barack Obama won New Jersey's 15 electoral votes.
