Who Won New York Elections in 2008?

Four of New York's Representatives retired in 2008 - Vito Fossella in District 13, Mike McNulty in District 21, Jim Walsh in District 25, and Tom Reynolds in District 26. The Democrats won three of the elections and picked up a net of two seats.

Incumbent Republican Randy Kuhl was defeated in the 29th District by Eric Massa (pictured left).

New York Senator Hillary Clinton's term expires in 2012. Senator Chuck Schumer and Goveror David Paterson's terms expire in 2010.

Barack Obama won New York's 31 electoral votes.
