8th District Elections
California's 8th Congressional District is comprised of most of the city of San Francisco, California
Democrat Nancy Pelosi is the current representative for the 8th District of California and has served since 1993. Pelosi has been in Congress since 1987, but was redistricted from the 5th to the 8th. Pelosi served as Speaker of the House starting in 2007.
