Minnesota's 3rd Congressional District is comprised of the western Twin Cities suburbs including Plymouth, Minnetonka, Maple Grove and Bloomington.

Republican Erik Paulsen won the 2008 Election in the 3rd District to be their latest Congressman. Republican Jim Ramstad served the 3rd District of Minnesota from 1991-2009, and Republican Bill Frenzel served for 20 years before Ramstad.
