The Miss World Pageant for 2008 was held at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa on December 13. It was the 58th year for the pageant and there were 109 contestants.
Ksenia Sukhinova of Russia was crowned Miss World 2008, with the 1st Runner Up being Parvathy Omanakuttan of India.
