San Diego Padres pitcher Jake Peavy received all 32 first place votes from the baseball writers en route to winning the 2007 National League Cy Young Award. Peavy led the National League in wins (19), ERA (2.54) and strikeout (240).

The Padres can now boast four Cy Young Award winners - the last being Mark Davis in 1989.

Runner-up Brandon Webb of Arizona was named second on all but one ballot.
