Milwaukee Brewers third baseman Ryan Braun edged out Troy Tulowitzki of the Rockies to win the 2007 National League Rookie of the Year.

Braun, who was called up in late May, hit .324 with 34 home runs and 97 RBIs. He also led the league in errors with 26.

Ryan Braun became the second Brewer to win Rookie of the Year. The other was Pat Listach in 1992 when Milwaukee was in the American League.

Tulowizki had batted .291 with 99 RBIs and set the NL rookie record for home runs by a shortstop with 24.
