The Boston Red Sox swept the Colorado Rockies 4 games to 0 in the 2007 World Series.
It was the second title in four years for the Red Sox, who for the most part silenced the bats of the Rockies.
After trailing Cleveland 3 games to 1 in the ALCS, the Red Sox ripped off seven consecutive wins. Sox manager Terry Francona has now won seven consecutive World Series games.
Mike Lowell won the Series MVP Award.
