LeBron James was the winner of the Maurice Podoloff Trophy as the NBA's Most Valuable Player for 2008-09.
James was the runaway winner, tallying 109 of a possible 121 first place votes. Last year's MVP, Kobe Bryant, finished second.
King James is the first Cavalier to win the award. He led his team in scoring, rebounds, assists and steals while leading them to an NBA best 66-16 record. He also led the league in triple-doubles.
