NBA MVP
The National Basketball Association (NBA) awards its MVP award at the end of every season. The winner receives the Maurice Podoloff Trophy, named for the first president of the NBA. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has won the award six times.
The most recent MVP is Derrick Rose of the Chicago Bulls. LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers won the previous two years.
