Oklahoma power forward Blake Griffin (pictured) was the first selection of the 2009 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers. Hasheem Thabeet of UConn went second to the Memphis Grizzlies.
Griffin was the consensus number one pick. He led the nation in rebounding with 14.4 per game and averaged 22.7 points per game.
