Apr 5, 2010
The 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball championship game was held April 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Gordon Hayward's halfcourt shot clanked off the iron as time expired, and Duke held on for a 61-59 victory to claim the 2010 National Championship.
Kyle Singler led Duke with 19 points and was named the Final Four MVP. Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski won his fourth championship, tying him with Adolph Rupp for second all-time.
