Who Won the 2008 Mens NIT Tournament?

The Ohio State Buckeyes won the 2008 NIT Men's Basketball Tournament by defeating UMass in the championship game 92-85.

The Buckeyes, led in scoring by Kosta Koufos (the tournament's most outstanding player), were in the NCAA Championship Game just one year ago.

Head Coach Thad Motta's team became just the third team to win the NIT after losing the NCAA title game the previous year. The others were Kentucky (1976) and Dayton (1968).
