The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) awards its MVP award at the end of every season. The MVP is determined by votes from sportswriters and broadcasters and is awarded during the playoffs.

Two players have won the WNBA MVP Award three times - Sheryl Swoopes of the Houston Comets and Lisa Leslie of the Los Angeles Sparks. Cynthia Cooper won the first two MVP awards giving the Houston Comets the MVP five times.
