Ohio State had been ranked number one all season long, but in the end it was the University of Florida which stood alone as winners of the BCS Championship Game and the national champs of college football.

The Gators spread out the scoring of their 41 points, and the defense held the powerful Ohio State offense to only 14 points.

The game was held at Glendale Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
