Super Bowl XLII was held February 3, 2008 in Glendale, AZ. The New York Giants de-railed New England's quest for a perfect season when they beat the previously unbeated Patriots 17-14.

Giants quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning led his team on a memorable two-minutes drive at the end of the game to score the game winning touchdown.

Jordin Sparks, latest winner of American Idol, sang the National Anthem, and Tom Petty headlined the halftime show.
