The Ford Championship at Doral was a yearly stop on the PGA Tour until 2006 and took place on the "Blue Monster" golf course in Doral, Florida.
The event started in the early 1960's and drew most of the top professional golfers.
The WGC-CA Championship took its spot on the tour schedule.
Tiger Woods won the last two Ford Championships at Doral.
