Angel Cabrera from Argentina became the lowest-ranked player to win the Masters since the world rankings began in 1986.
In a three-way playoff with Kenny Perry and Chad Campbell, Cabrera made par on the second playoff hole to win the green jacket. Campbell was eliminated after the first playoff hole.
The win was only the second tour win for Cabrera, but both have been majors. His last was the 2007 US Open .
