SBS Championship
The SBS Championship (formerly the Mercedes Championship) began way back in 1953 in Las Vegas as the "Tournament of Champions." In 1969 the tournament moved to La Costa Resort in Carlsbad, California.
Mercedes took over sponsorship of the tournament in 1994, and in 1999 Mercedes Championships moved to Kapalua Resort in Hawaii.
The most recent SBS Championship winner was Geoff Ogilvy in 2010, the first year the tournament took the new name.
