Geoff Ogilvy won his first major title at the 2006 US Open held at Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, NY.
Phil Mickelson actually had a one-shot lead going into the final hole, but made a double-bogey to open the door for the Australian Ogilvy.
