Vezina Trophy
The National Hockey League's Vezina Trophy is awarded yearly to the league's outstanding goalie. Martin Brodeur of the New Jersey Devils has won three of the last four Vezina Trophys.
Named for Georges Vezina, a Montreal goalie from the 1920s, the award is voted on by the NHL general managers.
Dominik Hasek has won the Vezina Trophy a total of six times, while Martin Brodeur has won four of the last five Vezina Trophies. The Montreal Canadiens have taken the award an incredible 28 times.
