The Samsung 500 is a NASCAR Nextel Cup race held every year since 1997 at the Texas Motor Speedway.
The race had several sponsors including DirecTV and Interstate Batteries before Samsung and Radio Shack sponsorship began in 2002. Samsung became the lone sponsor in 2007.
The most recent winner in 2011 of the Samsung 500 was Matt Kenseth.
