Rags To Riches wins the 139th Belmont StakesJun 9, 2007

Rags To Riches won the 139th running of the Belmont Stakes by a head over Preakness winner Curlin. Rags to Riches became the first filly in over 100 years to win at Belmont and the first filly since 1988 to win a triple crown race.

Ridden by jockey John Velazquez, Rags To Riches ran the 1 1/2 mile track in 2:28.74.

Rags To Riches' trainer was Todd Pletcher and the owners were Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith.
