Ruler On Ice, ridden by jockey Jose Valdivia Jr, won the 2011 Belmont Stakes. The trainer was Kelly Breen.

Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom nearly fell at the start, and Preakness winner Shackleford faded down the stretch - paving the way for the 24-1 long shot Ruler On Ice, winning by 3/4 length over Stay Thirsty.
