Roger Federer wins the 2009 French OpenJun 7, 2009

Roger Federer reached a milestone when he won the 2009 French Open.

With his victory over Robin Soderling he won his first French Open and his 14th major title - tying the record previously held by Pete Sampras. Federer became the sixth man to win all four major championships.
