Roger Federer defeated Novak Djokovic 7-6 (4), 7-6 (2), 6-4 to win his fourth consecutive US Open Men's Singles championship. Federer became the first man since Bill Tilden back in the 1920s to win four US Opens in a row.
Djokovic actually had 6-5 leads in each of the first two sets, but Federer came back to win both sets.
Federer now has 12 Grand Slam titles, tied with Roy Emerson for second and two behind Pete Sampras.
