Amelie Mauresmo deafeated Justine Henin-Hardenne 2-6, 6-3, 6-4 to win the 2006 Wimbledon Women's Singles title. It was her first Wimbledon title and her second grand slam championship (her first was the 2006 Australian Open).
The other two semi-finalists were Maria Sharapova and Kim Clijsters. The matchups and scores of the final four rounds are below.
