The 2007 Wimbledon Women's Final had a 18 seed and a 23 seed, but that 23 seed was Venus Williams who turned up her play in the later rounds to win her fourth women's singles title at Wimbledon.
Venus Williams defeated surprise finalist Marion Bartoli 6-4, 6-1 in the first final where women received the same prize money as the men.
In the open era of Wimbledon, only Martina Navratilova, Steffi Graf and Billie Jean King have more Wimbledon Singles Titles than Venus Williams. Williams now has a total of six Grand Slam titles.
