It was a match for the ages at the 2008 Wimbledon Men's Final. The longest men's final in Wimbledon history saw Rafael Nadal win his first Wimbledon championship and deny Roger Federer his sixth consecutive Wimbledon title.

Federer was two points from victory, but couldn't pull it out and lost 6-4, 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-7 (8), 9-7.

Nadal, who became the first since Bjorn Borg to win Wimbledon and the French Open in the same year, stopped Federer's streaks of 40 consecutive matches at Wimbledon and 65 overall on grass.
