Hilary Erhard Duff was born September 28, 1987 in Houston, Texas. Her parents owned a chain of convenience stores. Hilary has one sister - Haylie - who is also now a professional actress.
Hilary Duff's first major role was that of Wendy in 1998's "Casper Meets Wendy" which went straight to video. Her breakthrough role, however, was that of Lizzie McGuire on the highly popular Disney Channel TV series. "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" was released in 2003. Hilary Duff has since appeared in several major motion pictures including the "Cheaper By the Dozen" series and "Material Girls" with her sister Haylie.
Hilary Duff has also maintained a successful music career with number one albums "Metamorphosis" and "Most Wanted".
