Angelina Jolie was born Angelina Jolie Voight on June 4, 1975. Her father is acclaimed actor Jon Voight. She has not had a good relationship with her father, however. At age 11 she attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and later attended Beverly Hills High School.

Angelina Jolie has been married twice - to Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton, with whom she adopted a Cambodian child. Angelina Jolie is now involved with Brad Pitt, and the two are expecting a child in 2006. Jolie has been a champion for issues in third world countries.

Angelina won a Best Actress Academy Award for "Girl, Interrupted," and since then has appeared in such films as "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider" and "Mr and Mrs Smith" with Brad Pitt.
