Philip Alfred Mickelson was born in 1970 in San Diego, California.
Mickelson attended Arizona State University and joined the PGA Tour in 1992
He has won several major championships including The 2005 PGA Championship and the 2006 Masters.
Mickelson's nickname is lefty. He golfs left-handed but does everything else right-handed.
