Vince Young was born May 18, 1983 in Houston, Texas.
Vince Young was the starting quarterback for three years at Madison High School in Houston. While in high school, he was also a four year letter winner in basketball, and a three-year letter winner in track. Young was red-shirted during his freshman year, but played regularly after that.
On January 4, 2006, Vince Young led the Texas Longhorns to the NCAA National Championship by defeating USC 41-38 in the Rose Bowl. Vince Young finished second to Reggie Bush for the 2005 Heisman Trophy, and won the Maxwell Award for college player of the year.
Vince Young was selected number three overall by the Tennessee Titans in the 2006 NFL draft and started most of the year his rookie season.
