"Inspired by the true story of five students who changed the game forever."
Ben Campbell (Jim Sturgess) is a brilliant M.I.T. student who needs help paying his tuition. Along with other students he is recruited by math professor Micky Rosa (Kevin Spacey) to learn to count cards and beat the system in the casinos. The team develops an intricate system of signals and works to stay one step ahead of casino security (Laurence Fishburne).
The screenplay for "21" (adapted from the book "Bringing Down the House" by Ben Mezrich) was written by Peter Steinfeld and Allan Loeb. The film was directed by Robert Luketic.
