"Heroes aren't born. They're made."
Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is the CEO of a company that supplies weapons systems to the military. While holding a weapons test in Afghanistan Tony is wounded, captured, and held hostage. The genius inventor is told to build weapons for the terrorists, but instead builds a high tech iron suit that help him escape. Back in America Tony improves on the suit and vows to use it to help protect the world.
The screenplay for "Iron Man" was written by Mark Fergus, Hawk Ostby, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway. The film was directed by Jon Favreau.
