Kenny Chesney

Kenny Arnold Chesney was born March 26, 1968 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Chesney also grew up in Tennessee and eventually graduated from East Tennessee State University with a degree in advertising. His music career started by playing around his college town, and as soon as he graduated Kenny moved to Nashville. He was signed to a contract in 1992.

Kenny Chesney's first country hit was "Fall In Love" in 1995, and things began to snowball from there. Chesney scored his first number one country song in 1997 with "She's Got It All". In 1999 he cracked the pop top 40, and finally in 2002 his album "No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems" hit number one not only on the country chart, but on the pop album charts as well.
